The wraps are off Austrian Airlines's new livery, and it's a more subtle make-over than some were expecting.
The Star Alliance partner's clean 'Euro-white' design remains in place, with the bright red of the Austrian flag now the only colour to be seen on the first repainted Airbus A321, which was snapped by a member of the PlaneCrazy.sk community today.
Gone are the soft blue engine cowlings and the undercarriage of the current stripe.
The belly is now stark white, while a slash of red highlights the engine nacelles.
The brand has also been tweaked to 'My Austrian'.
Austrian Airlines is expected to formally launch the new look early next month.

An airport lineup of new liveried AY, OS, IB and AF planes would just look so incredibly dull.

I'd love to see Australian Airlines. I think Qantas should do a TAA or Australian Airlines retro livery on one of their A330's.
