I'm looking at flying from Oz to South America in December returning January. Prices through Qantas are over $6000 in Economy, and more than $30,000 in business.
Does anyone have any intel on whether this is due to Qantas withholding supply, or is it because the flights are almost sold out?
Probably a bit if both. When they have their three extra 787s delivered plus extra A380s on board. Supply of seats/flights may increase and prices ease back a bit.

Book the Qantas flights on the LATAM site, only $6500 in Business some days in December (Sydney to Santiago).
