Hi all, I’ve always stayed at Accor properties for business travel and have always earned points and been recognised at my status level when staying. All bookings were through corporate travel agents.
I’ve just changed jobs though and when trying to connect my member number to my first booking in this role the hotel is telling me that status won’t apply (earning points or status recognition) due to it being a booking through an agent rather than direct.
A bit confused so any insights others have would be great!
Depends on the agent and booking. Some agents use Expedia/Booking.com as a supplementary accommodation feed to their main channels and these do not allow status/points earn.
