Each time I look on the Qantas website for flights Melbourne to Singapore I see flights on Jetstar max for over $3000. Why so high and why only offering max?
On the Jetstar website they offer a range of seats?

I suspect it is to do with the marketing agreement between qantas and Jetstar. With demand high Qantas doesn’t want to offer too many cheap seats. The implication is you should find them yourself. Max fares also get many if most Qantas FF benefits.
If you look at Jetstar website the price difference between the basic no frills no luggage to the full Monty is about double. $70 to add luggage. This is why Qantas only publishes the fares with equivalent benefits e.g luggage, food etc.
