For QF9 to LHR I can see total number of seats available for booking has been reduced by 20 in economy from 166 to 146 for forseeable future - but for QF10 it's full seat count 166. Is this due to summer/stronger headwinds and has it always been the case? Tomorrow's flight capacity down to 105 which I've never seen before when looking at loads.
QF has always had a reduced seat count from launch. It is consistently changed based on freight, winds, weather, countries in conflict and historical data. It is one of the reasons ticket prices are incredibly high to keep it profitable.
