I've been Platinum and Lifetime Gold for some years but with all the recent disruption I've completely forgotten what happens at the end of the year in non=COVID times.
My annual renewal is 30 June 2023. I've already retained Platinum. Have Lifetime Gold. Currently sit on 1415 Status Credits.
Do the extra 215 credits after retention of Platinum get rolled over to the following year or just expire and I start the new year on 1 July 2023 at zero?
If I am reading this correctly you may get 40% of accrued points to a max of 500 - so based on the 1415 you have so far looks like you will get the max 500 SC
Can my current Status Credits be rolled over to my next Membership Year? Yes,
if you’re eligible, Qantas will rollover eligible Status Credits earned
in the Membership Year ending between 31 January 2023 and 30 June 2023
up to a cap of at least 40% of the Status Credits required to retain
your tier. This rollover will apply for Membership Years starting
between 1 February 2022 and 1 July 2022.
The maximum number of Status Credits that can be rolled over are as follows:
Platinum One
Platinum
Gold
Silver
Status Credits
1,800
500
250
100
Thanks @Husko - didn't realise the COVID-era rollovers were still going! Thought 2022 was the end of it. Clearly I was wrong.
You're right looks like I get another 500.
The reason for asking is I have to take some flights Europe. EK coming up more convenienet. So if only advantage is a few more QF points, might as jump to the EK option on this trip......
