SQ have a promotion for First and Suites class of a nights accommodation in Singapore if transiting through. If you have a commercial booking in the right class (R or P I believe) but your partner is on a redemption booking are you both allowed to stay at the hotel in the one room? Does anyone know what the rules are around this?

I cannot get it - what stops you book room just for you and then let you partnet in?
