Hi. So i have a multi-leg ticket. All flights are issued with a Turkish Airlines flight number. The first flight is actually Malaysian Airlines. I want to select a seat (and it wont let me do so online through either airlines's manage booking). I have called each airline. Each says that the other is responsible for allocating a seat. Spoke to the agent who sold the ticket who says that only Malaysian Airlines can allocate the seat (they say that cant change anything on it because its Turkish). Very frustrating.
Hi Booyeah you might have two airline references (PNRs) on the one booking (one hidden in the background for MH), ask Turkish Airlines for the MH PNR or Ref then go to each website separately to book seats on that airline. I know this is the case for Qantas codeshare flights on Emirates, two PNRs are created as Emirates don't use the same as Qantas.
