My understanding is that once a person achieved QFF Gold Status (or higher) any remaining months/years of their Qantas Club membership gets effectively paused, and only starts to tick down again once the member returned to Silver Status (or below). I have just noticed that a promotional 2 years of Qantas Club I purchased during the pandemic (in anticipation of dropping to Silver and changing flight habits) has not had its expiry date automatically extended to reflect the subsequent series of status extensions granted to QFF members. Before making call to the call centre to flag this issue, can anyone here confirm if my understanding of the above is correct? I look forward to your responses.

Yes, that’s my understanding that once you drop from Gold to Silver the remaining QC month’s would reactivate.
