According to Qatar's website, access to Singapore lounge is limited to "...oneworld First and Business class ticketed revenue customers". Presumably that doesn't include those flying on oneworld business award seats?

And in that case, presumably the best lounge in Singapore T1 for those without status is Qantas?

I would think you can go in given from a boarding pass you can't tell what is a points ticket Vs paid. I suspect they are deferring staff travel (which is Identifiable).

As an aside, I have travelled through Changi a fair bit the last 12 months and last week with a long layover (QF51 to BA12 - classic rewards flight) decided to go explore after 4 hours in the QF first lounge. . Found out the hard way that the Qatar lounge is for Business guests and above only... walked back into the BA lounge since i was in the area... didn't even sit down and retreated back to the QF first

As long as you have a first or business class boarding pass from a oneworld airline they will let you in. I did just that a couple of weeks ago on a ticket upgraded using points.

Just a heads up that the lounge is very busy before the 9pm departure to Doha and the restaurant only serves light snacks and dessert after that time.
