Does anyone have a review of EK A332 Biz class? Looking at flights connecting with QF ex DXB to MXP. Are they like Biz class of 1990's or something more substantial?

If you've flown VA coast to coast in business and were on one of them ex-EK planes, then you've already tried them out.

They're not bad for few hours flight, plenty of legroom and recline but the seat is on the narrow side (2-3-2). If your neighbour is on the plus size elbo space will be severly impacted. The most annoying bit about the seat is the headrest. It's not shaped for comfort.

I'm assuming you're booked on EK101 which connects conviently with QFs inbound from AU. If you don't mind spending few hours around Dubai and don't have an all important meeting the day you arrive, I'd spend the night in Dubai then catch the afternoon service EK91 where you'll get to enjoy the service and the better seat of the the 777s. There's also the morning EK93 but would rather sleep in and adjust with the time zones.

AUSBT did a review on the Business Class seats on Emirates' A330-200 aircraft.

I've experienced the Emirates A330-200 product and although not the most comfortable and luxurious seats in the market, the service is unparalleled and the entertainment is great.

If you'd be willing to spend a few hours, or a day in Dubai, you would be able to connect to a better, more comfortable Business Class seat on the 777-300 jet. .

Emirates Milan-Dubai timetable:

Also, if yor connection ends up being more than eight hours, you will qualify for the Emirates Dubai Connect service, even if your flight is operated by Qantas. Emirates will provide you with  accommodation, meals, ground transportation and visa costs.

If your flight/s are operated by Qantas, more information on Dubai Connect can be found here.

If your flight/s are opearted by Emirates, more information on Dubai Connect can be found here:

That gives you a few options to think about. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask! :)

Awesome thanks for the info guys, I am not a huge fan of extended layovers and prefer to get straight to the destination. I'm sure these seats will be fine for me. Cheers!
