Hi all. I am flying BNE-SIN-LHR on SQ, and am then flying LHR-Lisbon on TAP Air Portugal on a separate ticket approx. 4 hours later. I was wondering what the chances are that I could check my bag all the way through without needing to collect in LHR? I'm flying SQ business for what it's worth.
Singapore Airlines has an Interline agreement with TAP Portugal. The ticket agent upon presentation of both etickets should check the bag through to your final destination. Have done this on a number of occasions with different airlines and PNRs. Where there is an interline agreement in place I’ve never had a problem, but I’ve never specifically had an SQ-TP flight combination before. If unsure, it’s always worth dropping a call the Singapore Airlines customer service line to double-check.
