There was an article recently around QF easing up on these rules recognising these challenges, but I can't find any detail and certainly no obvious way online of fixing this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions? Apparently me transferring points to her doesn't count towards preventing points expiry.

QF have updated to allow transfers as low as 1500 points - issue solved. Thanks for everyone's feedback.
And, yes, to the "haters" out there, whilst it's very few points, they are still points that have been earned and are worth protecting. No different to saving your first few dollars as a child in the piggybank. One day I hope my daughter will value the points she has built up over her childhood years and puts them to good use - even if it's just for an economy ticket Sydney-Melbourne (we all start somewhere!)
