Hi, Can't find an answer on the website. I'm flying business on Etihad from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi. Can I bring a guest flying economy into the lounge? I'm VA Platinum if that makes a difference. Etihad website doesn't have a lot of info about lounge guests.
As a Business flyer you cannot, but as a VA Platinum member you can, so in your case the answer is yes you'll be allowed one guest. I'm a VA Platinum based in Melboune and Etihad is my go to airline for EU travel. The Melbourne lounge is called The House.
Note as a VA Platinum when flying out of Abu Dhabi you can use the brand new (and excellent) Etihad First Class lounge (again as a VA Plat you'll get one guest to the First Class lounge). This is in the new terminal which opened last month, I was there just a few weeks ago. If AUH is your final destination (rather than an onwards transfer) you won't be able to use it when landing. But assuming you have a return ticket out of AUH, you'll be able to use when departing.
Yes looking forward to the new first lounge. Flew out of there recently but it was 10 days before they moved to the new terminal! Reviews (including yours) look good.
