Can book a QF flight number on Webjet that doesn't exist on Qantas?

Hi All - I'm looking to book Sydney to Guanzhou ideally with Qantas to get SC. On Webjet, I get offered direct flights operated by China Southern with QF flight numbers (QF5007 and QF5001). But the Qantas website search doesn't bring these same flights up?

Has anyone had experience of this?

Qantas publishes fares for those codeshare flights in the GDS. So, what Webjet is seeing is legit stock, should ticket without a problem (081 - QF ticket stock).

Qantas probably chooses not to market those flights directly on their website anymore because they now have their own operated service to Shanghai and other interline agreements to connect to Guangzhou.

You can try calling them, but I’m afraid the stock marketed on the call centre will be the same as online. You’ll probably only be able to book QF5001 and QF5007 via an agent.
