This is my first time travelling business class. We arrive in Heathrow at 5AM. Are we able to use the lounge on arrival in London, to freshen up and change before heading off for the day's drive?
He's flying Royal Brunei, which uses T4 at Heathrow. As far as I know there is no airline arrivals lounge, only the Yotel, which you can book at around 60GBP for a few hours to freshen up and have a nap. They also offer free wifi to catch up on mail.
TRB! I did, thanks. I have been lucky enough to fly QF in F from LHR to SYD over the past years, so indeed it did not take me long to obtain Plat status. And the amount of miles flown were less than 100k (and that is even with Plat bonus, so not only base mileage and cabin mileage which normally only accounts for staus miles). So in my case having a SC based FF program helped in reaching status faster as opposed to being a member of a mileage based program. however, I am considering my options, which is quite hard as you know.

Sunel,
Which airline are you flying with? That will determine your ability to access the various Arrival Lounges at LHR.

Hey KG,
Did you manage to get the description of my analysis re the FF programme? There wasn't a way to share excel spreadsheets on this forum.
