Jetstar has recently changed the fare classes. The Max fare has been replaced by the Flex Plus.
Part of change is that status credits and points are now classed as economy rather than flexible economy. Therefore, fewer points and half the status credits.
Outside of the capitals, Jetstar is often the only QF group choice.
Personally, nearly all my flights were on Max fares, so this will impact me. It's also a bit insulting as once I paid $1,100 for a last minute oneway Bali-Darwin flight. (Family emergency at Christmas.) Not sure how that is now considered a discount fare level?

Outside of the capitals? Qantas fly to 67 towns and cities in Australia, not just the capitals.
Yes some direct routes are operated by JetStar, given the passenger mix - mainly leisure destinations.
On a positive the max fares are now cheaper

Have Jetstar changed the Status Credits for Business Max?
