I have used KF website to understand, but unsure if it answers my question. Does KF give equal miles when flying on a partner airline as much as them, unlike QF which provides a reduced status credits when flying on Cathay, or malaysian etc?
I'm not sure but as an example I received 5838 for SYD-BKK (Thai), 3401 SYD-HND (ANA) and 4890 for SYD-SIN (SG) and another 1100 to BKK on this flight, so possibly varies between carriers as I assume that SYD to BKK or HND is a similar distance but miles rewarded were very different.
These examples are for BC and exclude any Tier bonus.
It does vary between airline, class of travel, and fare type. Sometimes you get the same number of points for partner airlines as you do with Singapore Airlines, sometimes you don't. There is a table on the Singapore Airlines website which clearly answers your question. I've tried to attach the table, not confident it has at the time of typing.

Thank you. Being QF Platinum, you wonder why QF gives paltry SC's on partner airlines even when flying on routes that they do not serve.
