I was in the queue to takeoff at Brisbane airport on Sunday morning and saw a private aircraft land prior. It appeared to be a Gulfstream, or possibly a Bombardier with a clear VH- registration. It's tail had a 'flapping australian flag' on it. Does anyone know the company or person who owns this?

Someone richer than you. Who cares? Some people have jets. You don't. Diddums.

Hugo: Bit of a harsh and degrading reply, maybe just don't post if you don't have an answer .

This section of AUSBT is called Q&A, so if Tom01 would like to inquire if somebody has an idea of to whom the jet belongs he is free to do so, no need to answer in a degrading way.

Really Hugo, was the rude tone required?

It was a genuine question that interests Tom. If it doesn't interest you, why make such a comment.

You know nothing about me Hugo.

Simply asking because it wasn't a stock-standard corporate jet livery.

I do know that billionaire Clive Palmer's Private Bombardier Global Express (registered M-ATAR) did touch down in Brisbane on Sunday at around 9:40am local time. The aircraft belongs to him as part of his new political party - Palmer United Party. He uses it to travel around Australia and campaign at different major cities, looking to become Australia's next Prime Minister at the upcoming election. While it doesn't have a VH- rego, it does meet all the other descriptors you mentioned. See the link below for that flight and to see all the other ones it has taken recently. I think this is the one.

It's easy to tell who's jet our future PM's on:

Clive's will have a severe tilt to one side depending where he's sitting, Rudds will have knives sticking out the back of it and Abbotts will be towing a banner saying I love women.

Thanks for the question cos I'm on the side of  those who found it interesting.
