Qantas Plat One - Hi All, just wondering if anyone had their Plat One membership extended as they were a little short of the required status credits? Cheers

I believe that they will (or can) extend your P or P1 status if you call them and explain that you have some forward bookings and/or can assure them that your travel frequency will continue or increase. A lengthy membership of the status will probably assist your case.

Considering you were able to get to QFF P1, I am sure they are willing to accommodate that request, especially if you have evidence to prove future flights booked, give them a call and see what happens :)

Yes I had Platinum extended last year as future bookings must hold weight in their decision.
Perhaps this may be the case with you? (You would also be aware that the retain SC level are different to that of what you need to qualify)

I got an email two weeks ago informing of my current SC's and specifically my QF SC's; which are a key factor for obtaining P1.
I am a current P1 and have about three months remaining to requalifying. Last year I only got there by a couple of hundred SC's and this year wi'll probably be similar. The P1 level of service, in my opinion, is well above that of P. Off the top of my head, qualifying for P1 is the 2 or 3 times that of P - so it is only worth it if you are actually flying that much. They have helped me a lot this year in many ways - have made my life easier when on the road or when I need something done slightly outside the norm.
