I have 600,000 Cth Awards points - is it worth converting to Velocity points? Or just use them at Flight Centre for travel?

I would transfer to QFF, I think you could almost manage 2 x Biz RTW? Definitely 1 First Class RTW
Although, as I am not a member of Velocity I am rather biased

With CBA you've only got three options - Qantas and Velocity at 2:1 ratio, so your points are only 300,000. and Air NZ which converts at 160:1 (3750 airpoints).
To trf to QF, you need to be enrolled in that opt-in for $10/yr.
300,000 Qantas points will get you Business SYD-London return for 256,000 points + $1,000 tax. (worth $8k to $9k)
Converting to 600,000 points into Flight Centre vouchers will only net you approx $3,250 (46,500 points for $250 voucher).
I would always use points for flights, and I would also change credit cards to get into a better points program,
Well, thats my opinion - hope that helps.
