Does anyone know whether you earn status credits with Virgin on award seat bookings?

Does anyone know whether you earn status credits with Virgin on award seat bookings? I know you don't earn points on reward seats as advised on the website, but I can't find any reference to status credits. Thanks.

Not with award seat bookings. I'm not sure if you can with any seat awards, but definitely not the nomal redemption fares.

No, not since the promotion ended at the end of June.

Some friends of mine had an overseas trip with VA as a rewards flight. They started their trip in June and got back to Australia in July. VA awarded them status credits on both legs. The trip was booked in late January.
