Do Business Class Lounge Staff help organise transfers to hotels and other airports if needed?
My folks will be flying business class to Bangkok Suvar BKK airport and then need to get to the Don Muang Low Cost Carrier Airport to catch an Air Asia flight back to Melbourne. The airport is about 35mins away and I don't want them to fend for themselves and have to book a cab which might take them anywhere and rip them off. Happy to pay good money if it means efficient, clean and respectable way of getting there. I am wondering if the attendants at the bizz class lounge would normally help their customers by organising stuff if requested?

Jay, from arrivals (level 2) your folks can go down the escalator to level one and get a metered taxi to DMK - they wont be ripped off. Or can get the free shuttle bus from Level 2 between gates 2 & 3. They just show their Air Asia ticket.. Allow 1 hour travel time. Or you could book them a limo service where a driver will be waiting a name placard.

Hi. Id rather the limo service with placard. Do you know any companies that are good? Or should I just go to flight centre and get them to book this stuff for me, as I have to book a hotel at the LCC airport anyway.

The hotel you book should be able to provide a pickup from the airport.

One limo company I usually use in Bangkok is http://www.sawasdee-limothai.com. Their rates are reasonable and are efficient with the reservation process. Once booking is confirmed, they will let you know the name of the driver, his mobile number, the vehicle's license plate number and also they make of the car. Another option is book the transfer at the AOT limo counters scattered throughout the baggae claim area.

Airline staff do not generally help, I would suggest using an airport concierge ,who will assist them through customs, and to their next flight, this is a great service ,and is available to the public at a cost.most company ceo's use the service .the company to contact Diamond air.hope this helps

They arrive BKK 7pm and the Air Asia flight from Don Muang airport is the next day at 8.30am. So I have to book them a hotel room for an overnight.

No chance, especially on arrival. As mentioned AOT limo counters are right next to the baggage claim they could sort the whole thing in 2 minutes before their baggage even arrives
