which means the lack of QF flight numbers into Europe from London is an issue. you could pick up the status out of london itno europe before and that was a huge help.

It is reasonable to suggest that whilst not having QF codes out of LHR may be an issue for some people (like yourself), it would probably be the minority. Of all the issues QF could fix, I don't think this is a high priority (nor should be it for an Australian based carrier).

A SYD-HNL-SFO like the old days and people for Vancouver can get on the plane that started it's journey in Cairns or Brisbane via a Transfer in Honolulu.I did it that way when I went on a School Cultural Trip to Canada way back in 1990.This was when Australian Airlines used to provide the feed for the old Canadian Airlines flights from Sydney back then.

Yep, remember it well, those were the days via Honolulu to both Vancouver and Toronto.....

get the 777X and return the service via SIN to LHR, maybe even SYD/PVG/LHR. the CX seat would have to be the one to install for J class and any first class cabins should be made totally private. all seats must have personal air vents as well. and i would like to see the return of chair-side dining with a trolley showing you what the selection is.

A bit late to this discussion, but a flight north out of Perth would be a nice addition..
