Considering the Jetstar 787 base to be Melbourne, what initial domestic destinations would folks like to see?

East To West Coast Services:

Sydney - Perth Return

Melbourne - Perth Return 

Brisbane - Perth Return 

I doubt they'll use them to Perth - it'll be Sydney/Melbourne to Brisbane/Gold Coast/Cairns with a couple of other publicity flights thrown in. 

I'd expect them to be mainly short hops, in the MEL-SYD-BNE triangle. That'll allow the pilots to rack up the required number of takeoffs/landings quicker than they would if flying transcons to Perth.

I have been subjected to speculation that SYD T2 will not be a great place to fly a 787 to, so I'm thinking transcons, maybe CNS too.

I would suggest that we find out what are JQ's biggest domestic routes, then put them there.
