I take back all the good things and recommendations about the 28 Degrees Card. They have just introduced a 3% or $4 Cash Advance fee (Comm Jan 1st) This brings them back to the pack in terms of benefits and I no further recommend them against the Virgin and Qantas Cash Cards. Too good to be true means too good to be true. Also they haven't adequately explained why...Any other user thoughts?

Hmm, I too, was dissapointed to get this email from 28D. There is still the Citibank Visa Debit card that has no ATM fee.

It's still a great card with no currency conversion fee which is where it gets the best use for me.

Still a great card for overseas purchases and fee free, although on some other cards the fee v points tradeoff may be worthwhile for some,
But I agree that now usesless for cash.

But if you pre-load it with cash are you still hit with these fees?

That stinks. Looks like use it in a few weeks time then cancel it.

Why would you cancel it? It costs nothing to keep and allows you fee free overseas transactions so still gtret for using when travelling or online shopping if points are of no concern.
