I will be traveling QF in first LAX/SYD/BNE earlier next week. This out bound sector will see me connect in SYD to BNE spending less than 24 hours in SYD.While i have used the limo service on several prior occassions does anyone of you know if the limo has to be used at the first point of entry or can as i would prefer use the service in BNE.

My understanding is that you are entitled to the Qantas limo service on selected international flights (such as SYD-LAX) when on a Business or First ticket, when you first step off that international flight. In your case, you'd be able to get the limo at Sydney airport to be taken up to your overnight stay, but you'd then have to make your own way back to the airport to the domestic terminal to get your flight to Brisbane.
Robert, on the Qantas website, login to your frequent flyer account or click onto 'manage your booking'
When the page loads, click on the tab 'customise your journey' (just below your contact details) which will potentially allow you to choose which sector you wish to utilise the chauffeur service.
Is your ticket booked as LAX-BNE or LAX-SYD/SYD-BNE? Unless your SYD-BNE flight is booked as a connection from LAX, I believe that you are only eligible for the service in SYD.
I'm not very well-versed in QF's chauffeur service - but isn't the service "attached" to the eligible intl sector ticketed? It wouldn't hurt to talk to someone at QFi, they don't bite!
Yes you will get limo transfers in Sydney. I had a similar situation and has limo transfers for the BNE-SYD domestic leg as well as the SYD transfer to and from my hotel arrival on QF510 and Departure on QF107). All of the limo transfer options should be showing up on your online booking page and you can book each one for your flights.
Thanks BNE0077 you are correct and i most appreciate your input. To al, you should train QF customer service phone staff and then may be not.I made 3 seperate calls with each person stating somthing different and 32 min of time. The first 2 calls, al were made prior to my posting the question.Special thanks Sue the QF call center manager who was able clarify, and set thingsup.
No prob and sorry about the typos... Qantas call centre will usually run the line that the chauffer service has nothing to do with them. The service is provided as an "opt- in" where you have to actually book the service. Its not an automated booking on ticket purchase. My experience is with the Qantas business product. I havent flown first with Q recently so apologies for any incorrect assumptions that follow. I would have expected that for a first class ticket the chauffer drive booking as well first lounge spa access etc.. would have all been part of the Q customer service follow up for a ticketed first class passenger. But Robert, Qantas service can be inconsistent across a range of areas so am not surprised if that was the case in your scenario. No complaints though.... still a lot better than many other airlines hence why they get my vote ( and platinum handcuffs :) ) . Anyway hope you have a pleasant trip.

I can't understand why some people ask questions here which could easily be answered by calling the airline, in this case Qantas!
