Has anyone had any problem using Qantas Cash Card to pay for flights at a travel agent. I don't want to pay the Credit Card surcharge when using my own funds but the Qantas Cash website tells you to press Credit not Debit or savings on the merchant's EFTPOS terminal.

Why are you using a travel agent? IIRC Qantas Cash advises using 'savings' when purchasing fares.

They are CX flights on a special offer which had to be booked through an agent. I tried later to book it on Cathay's website and it fell over ?because 4 pax on booking.

The Qantas Cash advertising says "pay for a trip around the world" but is this only QF flights booked directly with the airline?

Hrm. It should be fine to use Qantas Cash for any purchase.
