I just received my Etihad Guest silver pack in the mail.

I just received my Etihad Guest silver pack in the mail. It says that i have access to the Business lounges and the A; Rheem in AUH? Is this true, i thought you had to be gold?

Accoring to their webpage the following is part of their Silver status: So as long as your travelling on an Etihad operated flight - enjoy. 

Lounge access (see point 2)
Whenever you travel in Coral Economy Class with Etihad Airways you can enjoy the luxury of our exclusive Pearl Business class lounge before your flight. When traveling or transiting out of Abu Dhabi International Airport, you are invited to use the Al Reem Lounge facility in Terminal 1. For your further convenience, you can also use the new dedicated check – in counter in Terminal 1.

Excess baggage allowance (see points 2, 3)
Etihad Guest Silver members can take advantage of free excess baggage allowance of 10 kg above the amount shown on your ticket. Your excess baggage allowance is guaranteed regardless of how full your flight is.

Chauffeur Service (2, 5)
Etihad Guest Silver members can enjoy this service at all points throughout their journey when traveling in our Pearl Business or Diamond First Class.

Etihad Guest Silver - Key points
1. Applicable on revenue tickets for Etihad Airways operated flights.
2. Only when traveling on Etihad Airways operated flights.
3. Not applicable on routes where the piece concept operates.
4. Bookable in the highest economy class fare.
5. Only where service is offered.

If only flying economy you can only use the Terminal 1 business lounge. Terminal 3 is only accessible if travelling in business class or if you have gold membership and are travelling economy or business. 

Love the silver card and baggage labels they mail out. Love the 10kg extra allowance too (more generous than Emirates). After my next outbound trip I should receive gold status.
