I think the The Galleries First lounge should let him in... (run by BA)
if not, the International Business lounge run also by BA.
i stand to be corrected

He will be able to use lounges in Terminal 3 only (i.e., he can't use the lounges in Terminal 5).
In Terminal 3, he will be able to use BA's Galleries First Lounge, or the standard Galleries (Business).
If he has oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status, he could also use the Cathay Pacific or American Airlines lounges.

He can use Galleries First in LHR T3, easily the best option available to him. Makle sure he books an appointment at the SPA before he flies, it is fantastic! He can also use the Qantas First Lounge in Singapore, but its not that great....nice deco in the QF/BA Business lounge next door!

Singapore Qantas First
Singapore Qantas/BA Business
HEATHROW
BA Galleries Club Lounge
There are more but they havent been reviewed by AusBT as far as I know. Someone please correct me if i am mistaken and have put the wrong links on.

Your son should be able to access the BA, American and Cathay lounges in London. If he wants Internet access, go for American. For a spa session or champagne, hit BA. But I have a certain love in my heart for the light, bright and airy Cathay Pacific First lounge upstairs.
Departing or transiting Singapore, it's the BA-Qantas joint lounge, which is not much to write home about, or the Cathay lounge, which at least has some light. Take a look at our lounge reviews for more info.
