I am trying to redeem a first class suits flight on Singapore Airlines for a Sydney to Fukuoka flight, but because the SIN - FUK flight has no first it just says nothing available and wants to make the whole booking in business (i have checked that the SYD-SIN leg does have suites available)

I'm guessing you're using Velocity points?

Joseph,
You want to waste all those points for an 8h flight? Really?

You can't make a mixed-class award booking through the web site. Call the service centre instead.

You need to divide up your trip with two return tickets - one to Singapore and then another Fukuoka. If you do the call centre you won't get the 15% reduction in points for booking online. This is a common problem - not just with points tickets but paid ones as well. A mixed Cathay J/F to the US is around $30K despite only be in J to HK. A standard J class to the US costs around $11K - go figure...

Thanks Everyone for their help!
I will call them up and see how much it is to book a milti class over the phone if its not cheaper will just book 2 seperate flights.
I think 2 seperate bookins will also end up costing more in surchargers so another thing I have to look into.
So far it looks like
SYD-SIN is 127 500miles (saver in 1st suits)
SIN- FUK 68 000miles (saver in biz)
Total = 195 500
Vs
SYD-FUK 131 750 miles (saver biz all the way)
