I'm not sure about T2 but in T1 it would be very hard to beat the Qantas Singapore Lounge.

Further to my reply above, I've only been to one lounge at T2. I tried the China Eastern J lounge a year or so ago, it was quite good, surprisingly much better than the rather ordinary China Eastern J lounge in Shanghai, one would have thought the reverse would have applied!

Does the Cathay Pacific lounge come close?

Compared to the QF Singapore lounge, the Cathay Pacific lounge is an embarrassment. It is called the Skyview Lounge and is shared by all Oneworld airlines as well as Air France, Air China, Finnair and several others and operated by Dnata, so must be a "third party" lounge. It has only got one advantage over the QF and BA lounges as it is opened all day, I use it if I am at the terminal before QF or BA is open. The QF lounge is as good as it gets when it comes to an airline lounge away from its home base. Having said that I am rather fond of the BA Galleries lounge at T1, next to the QF lounge, it is more intimate and quite peaceful, I have dinner at the QF lounge and then go across to BA for drinks and relaxation.

CX seriously needs to up its lounge game at SIN. It's funny to think that Singapore of all ports is where CX has an inferior lounge to QF and BA, two airlines generally not perceived to be as good as CX.
