I beleive it will be a soft refurb this year. Just a new cabin colour scheme for the seats.

I doubt that there will be any major shift in Y and Y+ (carpets, replacement of scuffed seats etc), and maybe soft product upgrades. I'd like to see new seats in J, but it's not desperately needed - VA could allign with either EY or NZ and introduce a product similar to theirs. There's also the new Virgin Atlantic Upper Class product coming out soon, which could be a strong possibility.

I would like to see VA work with Air NZ more. The way i see it, the closer Virgin australia is to Virgin Atlantic, the more random it gets.

Agree, a heringbone product based on NZ's but with VA touches (ie colours, fabrics, bar and quirky touches) would be a big upgrade over the 7 abreast seats they have today.

I think you will find a new J class at least. The CEO alluded to it and staff have been told to expect quite a bit of change when the overhauled aircraft return.
