Platy, since you're Hilton top tier, I'd go for the Conrad. Always reliable treatment at Conrad's everywhere. And the one in Singapore is nice enough. I did a similar holiday trip in 2012 but with kids. Mine were happy with the pool. Night zoo was great fun - trying to decide if some of the animals were real was a laugh ;-0 Universal Studio's is good for a day out if you're into thrill rides. Get the "front of queue pass" - costs extra but gets you on rides quickly.
I stayed at Conrad 2 months back and quite enjoyed it. I think I am Hilton Gold or something (not top tier) - and that got me a free breakfast and room upgrade. The hotel is a bit older in style but it feels classy and service is excellent. The swimming pool isn't huge but its quite comfortable. Medium sized shopping centre downstairs and MRT station below.
I could also walk to Raffles and the surrounding chicken rice places nearby. I also walked to gardens by the bay from the hotel in about 20 min or so... not a bad walk
One other thing that is worth a look around is the rediscovered "Battlebox" - British and Australian HQ during the tragic period leading to the fall of Singapore in WWII. It's very atmospheric if you have any appreciation of British, Australian or Singaporean history. I've not been out to Changi WWII museum, but looking forward to going in the future. One other comment - cabs in Singapore are very cheap by Australian standards, so its cheap to get around.
Intercontinental In singapore is quite good. I am a gold SPG memmber but for business or pleasure in Sing I love this hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the club lounge is also very good. Location on middle road is also very convenient to all the attractions and city spots.

Even though I'm pretty sure you've already gone, next time you go I recommend the Ritz-Carlton Singapore. I went in April and it was gorgeous.

That said it's not either of the programs mentioned above, but it's worth the price. Try it!
