Hello all, I'm only a bronze with Qantas at the moment, but will become a qantas silver member shortly, after a couple of trips next week. I was wondering if Qantas offered discounted Qantas Club membership to 'silver members' like Virgin Australia does? If so, how big are the discounts?
No, unless you can get it through some corporate scheme or if they have a promotion. They do give you one or a couple of complementary QC passes as a silver.
However, there are some appealing alternatives. If you fly on Qantas metal (as opposed to Jetstar), you could sign up for an Admirals Club membership. I understand that this is a cheaper program to enrol in, but crucially offers 30-day memberships as well as annual memberships.
You can get in on a corporate rathe through membership of the australian frequent flyer website. However do the maths to see if it's really worth it for you.

You get one pass per year.

If you work for Woolworths they might offer some corporate rate. I would investigate this with your company.
