Qantas Group have been replacing many routes with Jetstar, especially out of the smaller ports (eg. Darwin and Cairns.) These aren't huge flights, so as long as travellers can eaily purchase flights with Jetstar out of Singapore, etc. with Qantas / One World with a seamless service for the really long journeys with the same convenience as with Qantas, this is okay.
Noting my travel agent can't says that advertised Jetstar flights aren't appearing on Galileo or Amadeus for connection with Finnair (note this is a holiday, not business travel) I think Qantas Group need to do better! Bring on Silk Air and competition.

I think it's relevant for cities with high population of residents from Asian cities. To support a good load factor, the airline need to ensure that they are able to cater for both leisure and business travel.
