I believe all three carriers on this route only offer angled-flat business class.

Emirates, Thai and Qantas. All angled lie flat. I would choose Thai due to their schedule and that travelling on a 744 is more comfortable than 77W and 333.

The new night flight time ( ex DST) leaving Syd at 9.45pm arr BKK at 3am isnt a great schedule. The day flight (11am) is great arr BKK 4.20pm. and yes both on a 747.

I would choose Emirates, even though it doesn't have the A380 product, food and entertainment wise Emirates does really well.

Hope this helps, although Emirates only has one night flight, which might not be so convenient for all.

I'd book through Qantas, that way you can have can have a mix between EK or QF if you wish and can pick the most convenient flights. I've done this sector a few thimes and i've found that Qantas is generally pretty good. Good luck with it

Cannot fault Qantas either. Flat seats would be definitelly better though.

Uh...Emirates' seats are least angled towards the floor, I think. For schedule I'll go for TG or QF, so that's leveled out. If it was my choice I'd go for TG with the upper deck.
