I have Gold Q FF status & regularly fly to LAX arriving Terminal B with onwards flights departing Term. 4. This terminal uses AA lounge which
I consider to provide a service much below acceptable QFF standards.
I have attempted to enter QFF lounge in Term B with an AA boarding pass, airport security refused my entry as pass is marked Term 4. Any
Suggestions as to how to gain entry to QFF lounge in these circumstances?

If you arrive inbound on QF regardless of status and are taking AA on your next flight your only option is is the AA lounge you list in your comments. You have no options and the AA lounge including flagship is absolute crap. The good thing is very soon QF will have no flights to Australia departing this terminal ,and you will be able to use the new TBIT lounge that is now complete but not open.Hopefully they will open it earlier but i suspect Qantas local and Australian pinstripes will want there day in the sun at a preset opening.

Sorry Big T 42,
Admirals Lounge at T4 is your only option when flying on AA from Terminal 4.
I believe the only exit from TBIT (Terminal B) is through immigration and custom. Even if you could get to the Qantas lounge there, do you honestly want to go through immigration and security again?
I don't believe they will allow you to go to the Qantas lounge at TBIT after you disrmbark your Qantas flight. You would be "unclean" and need to be processed before being allowed into the sterile departure area, where the Qantas lounge is. If this wasn't the case, QF JFK bound pax from AU would not need to clear immigration and customs before continuing their journey.
This is all due to the Federal transport agency's procedure that all incoming international pax need to be processed, possibly to ensure no nut jobs , who arrive in the main United States hub airports are allowed to fly over US airspace without being cleared.

If your itinerary allows, fly via DFW where the AA lounges are more spacious and, I think, better than at LAX.

I'll second @dragonfly - until the new TBIT QF lounge opens DEFINITELY route yourself if possible via DFW. The AA lounges there are massive (much like the great state itself!) and more modern, albeit in a slightly over-the-top Texan way :-)
