QF T&C for chauffeur services indicates the following: "Reservations for Chauffeur Drive through Qantas can only be made for flights booked as part of a Qantas ticket (starting with ticket number 081)..."

I'm flying on QF10 (QF operated and marketed) but ticketed by AA (001). Can anyone please advise if it's possible to switch to 081 ticket to qualify for chauffeur service?

Or is there another way to get on to the chauffeur service?

The option for the chauffeur service on "Manage Your Booking" has disappeared once ticketed.

There is some discussion on this matter on Flyertalk. There are some posts that merely repeats QF T&C without adding anything further to the discussion (snore *zzzz....*), while others have indicated it is possible to use the chauffeur drive service even when not ticketed with 081 (QF) numbers.

Unfortunately those who suggested it is possible or have managed to secure the chauffeur drive despite not being ticketed on 081 tickets numbers have not explained the method to achieve a successful outcome.

Could I please implore you kind souls out there to share :)))

Never heard of an AA marketed trans pacific flight getting the chauffeur drive as it is for QF operated and marketed services only.

Neither have I driley28, which is a good thing since that is not the subject of this query ;)

I wish i could be more specific but it may or may not help, one of my staff traveled in J class on a AA  purchased ticket originating in the US and the chauffeur drive was not offered.He said he asked to change to a 081 QF ticket and this was denied.
