Earning Emirates Skywards tier miles on Qantas flights

Somewhere I read you get Skywards tier miles when flying QF on EK metal. Well, it ain't so. Just got email from the Emirates. Thought someone out there may want to know. Still, i'll take Skywards ver Qantas ooints given QF greed for cash n top of the points!

To get Skywards Tier got to be flying EK code EK metal, or EK code QF metal.
