Depends where you are flying from. Australian airports are generally well behind the rest of the world in this area, all the passport/passenger checks are done when you check your bags and if there are no flights departing when you want to check the bags you will have to mill around until they open.

Hi, hoping someone can advise. When flying Qantas International , having checked in on line, can you baggage drop 5 hours before your flight?
