Any news on lounge offerings at the new Hamad International Airport.

Qantar are moving to the new Hamad International Airport on 27th May. What dose this mean for their dedicated first/business terminal what will replace it???

From what I have read, the new airport will have the lounges in the main terminal, so no more premium terminal. Also the lounges will be opened up to people with Oneworld status.

So far it is all speculation as QR hasn't announced anything official yet.  The best guess at the moment is that QR are going to operate 4 lounges at Hamad.  In order of likely quality:

1. QR Silver Lounge -- for Qatar Airways Privilege Silver members
2. QR Gold Lounge -- For Qatar Airways Privilege Gold members and Oneworld Sapphire
3. QR Business Class Lounge -- for ticketed business class passengers.
4. QR First Lounge -- for ticketed first class passengers and Oneworld Emerald

No-one notices the "Qantar" in the opening post...
