What is the chance of an op-up on a QF A380 service from Y when Y is minus 8 and the load is as follows?:
F5 A0 J6 C5 D4 I0 U0 W3 R3 T0 Y0 B0 H0 K0 M0 L0 G0 E0

Depends on whether Y is overbooked and how many from Y have put in for a points upgrade to W and J. Then it will depend on your status as Platinum One, Platinum, Gold all have priority.

Looks like it's well and truly overbooked to me, but we obviously can't see the points upgrades.
TRB, how long till departure?

We'll see the WP points upgrades kick in about now (approx T-48), so keep checking, because at T-24, the remaining points upgrades will start to process.
Best of luck!

watson374, I'm not referring to points upgrade. I'm enquiring about non-point op-up.

I know, but those process first, which affects your chances of op-up. Just as an example, if people get pushed from W to J, and from J to F (which seems to have a lot more inventory), then your op-up from Y might improve.
On the other hand, if a lot of the points upgrade guys fill out W and J from Y, then your position is worse.
That's why I mentioned it.

Yes of course. Wasn't sure we're on the same page that's all!
Thanks for clarifying.

Hi
OWE does get a look but as is for all airlines, the airline's own FF program gets priority. So if you are a high status of another airline, you will only get a look in once QF has allocated its own high status FF's.
Good luck! Hope you get it!

I see that you have written J,D,C + I which are all revenue seats but you also have (U)niform class which is points fare and I am little curious as to how you're able to see this in your GDS....sneaky sneaky :-)
If there wasn't a single person who has requested an upgrade you would have to think that OWE would be bumped up before a Y cabin full of bronze folk but on the list of economy booking classes you havent written O,N,Q or X which are the non-upgradable fares so you would imagine there are a lot of people who would have the potential to upgrade and getting in your way of the freebie.
Good luck anyway
