QF Business Suites - SIN to SYD.

QF Business Suites - SIN to SYD. Anyone know when these are likely to come on stream for this route for QF's A330s? I heard by year end. Flying on QF6 in mid-December. Thanks!

I wouldn't count on your flight being operated by a refitted A330. Whilst Qantas is due to begin the refitting later this year, the programme is scheduled up until early 2016. With the first refitted A330s currently slated for coast-to-coast services (between Perth and the east coast), it's doubtful the product will grace foreign shores until next year.

please don't quote me as 'gospel'...but I have heard that the first 2 new cabin a330s will appear in DEC (sorry I don't know when in DEC)...1 will be on a 'coast to coast' route..and the other will be starting on the QF 5/6 route...

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS JUST A RUMOUR I HEARD IN CERTAIN CIRCLES ;-)

and i will happily eat humble pie if this doesn't eventuate 

pclifto: nothing has been announced or disclosed except that it's end of year, "Nov/Dec" for the first refit (each A330 takes approx 30 days), with a domestic route first to be shortly followed by an international route. There's an expectationof an east-west (eg Sydney-Perth) route for the domestic debut and Sydney-Singapore for the international, but again, no routes, dates or flight numbers have been announced.
