Given that Virgin Australia will open a Hobart lounge in 2013 I expect Qantas will announce a renovation of the Qantas Club in Hobart to be complete around the same time!

I agree, Al, they ,most likely will renovate it.
Some may have heard that there was an incident with a Tiger Airways plane this morning when the plane did a barrel role and made a mess of it and went close to losing control.
The plane was an hour out of Melbourne on a flight from Perth and was the Captain disgruntled with his co-pilot. He threatened to fly the plane into the Realto but never did. He then attempted to barrel role the plane but his attempt was unsuccessful. The co-pilot got control of the plane after the Captain had lost all ability to fly the plane through shock. The co-pilot successfully landed the plane and the Captain was fired.
Happy April fools day

Sorry AA but I reckon that 'joke' is in pretty poor taste. Threatening to fly an airplane into a high-rise building (hares of 9/11) is NOT funny mate.

Sorry :) hope you dont take my lame 'jokes' too seriously
Getting back to these lounges, Hobart's Qantas club doesnt seem look like it will likely stay in the same place if you look at the master plan. I am thinking they may find a better location when works start on a new setup.
