Has any of you good people experienced Qantas International recently.I took QF 11 last week back to LAX and experienced the best service in in 24 years of regular flying.As P1 i judge them, but to Kara and Shane and the others that worked the P cabin thank you.I wish you are the template for all QF crews.2 people had birthdays on that flight in the P cabin and were given a little bag of goodies,part of which looked like a good bottle of what i was enjoying at the time.What really impressed me was the poached eggs.I bought the 2 eggs on board Kara steamed them over caterers sauce...the best breakfast ever on QF. And DR Jane 2A the blow up mattress above the seat is the best..I say to you a blow up mattress above the P seats is like sleeping in your own bed at home.And thanks Dr Jane for the advice. Qf advised me that a blow up mattress above your seat providing it does not affect others comfort is ..OK.Well done Qantas.The next judgement Will come QF 12 in a few weeks.

Kara,Shane guys thank you for something all QF crews should aspire to.

When travelling o/s it's always nice to get on a Q plane and hear the Aussie accent. 9 times out of 10 the service is great - genuinely friendly.

Sadly Q international have abandoned Perth so this is probably an experience I won't re-live in future. From now on it will be Qatar or Sq for me.

As a P1 you wouldn't expect less, I think those with less status would hardly have a similar experience

In resent months I flew MEL-SIN and BKK-SYD with QF in biz. MEL-SIN was wonderful flight that I was really enjoying – excellent crew and excellent service. Incredibly prompt, but absolutely unobtrusive. BKK-SYD was dark side of the story. I flew from Europe and naturally want go to sleep as soon as I can. They were prepared to meal foe almost 2 hr (yep, overnight flight). Finally when they served ontrays I asked attendant if I could have my meal quicker. “Sure”. I finished ontray and politely waited it to be replaced with main. Attendant run pass me few times and put no attention. Then I pressed call button. He appears and I repeat my request. “Sure” was the answer and he removed dishes. However I have not got my main up until they start to serve it for everyone. I finished my main and called service as least 4 times – no-one ever came to me. I think it is deliberate – they knew what I want. I finished by collect my dishes and bring them to kitchen. Forget desert – I want sleep.

Unfortunately biggest problem with QF is inconsistency.

I always try to make my last leg home on a Qantas flight,I always feel I am back in Australia with Australian values when I board a QF flight,I catch up on my AFL team as well.I find it's not the plane or the airline that makes flying pleasurable but the Flight attendants on board,get the right crew and the flights a dream !! Qantas FA's are some of the the best in my opinion .this is based on business and first class travel as I have no experience in economy on flights longer than 2hrs
