Flying with VA from SYD-LAX this Monday. I am Platinum with VA...can I only access Koru lounge at Sydney International?
Also does this Koru lounge have a shirt pressing service?

No it doesn't - it has a hot dog stand and is truely dreadful.

Use the beautiful new Etihad Lounge. It's excellent and available to Platinum members.
By the way, last Sunday I chose to leave the Qantas Lounge only after five minutes of entering. It was so congested and there was a queue a mile long just to get some basic breakfast. It was more comfortable to be in the main terminal. No that truly IS dreadful!!

But you are unlikely to get.
If you fly from Sydney with Virgin, Virgin Atlantic, Air NZ, Delta or Hawaian you get Air NZ Koru Club
With Singapore - the Singapore Lounge
With Etihad - the Etihad Lounge

You are stuck with the NZ lounge.
That said, if you do give up, you can always fight the hunger by going downstairs to the Eagle Boys pizza joint. For less than a tenner you can stuff your face.

Well you could hop by the domestic lounge in T2 first, im very certain the staff would let you in based on these pointers:
- Velocity Platinum
- Same Day Travel on VAH
- Business Class CoS
After that you are welcome to make your way yourself to the international terminal, or get a bus voucher to the international terminal from the lounge staff.
