Worth noting for travel around China over the next few weeks, word is that air space is being restricted due to China military control. As such expect major delays at local airports, ie, its not un comment to check in for a 10am flight in from Shenzhen to Pudong but not leave until 4pm.....Anyone know more about the Chinese military issues and airspace control???

Happened to me a few months ago in Beijing. Checked in, boarded on time then announcement made we are grounded due to military movements. Three hours later we were allowed to leave. Funny thing however was that Air China flights were allowed to fly. I was using FlightRadar and sure enough every single flight that landed and took off was an Air China flight - very strange.
