Flying to/from Moscow/Kiev by Qantas. Funny enough it is impossible to select both cities on Qantas website despite the fact that Emirathes fly to Kiev (though their budget arm) and to Moscow and BA fly to Kiev and Moscow as well. Tickets sellable from BA and Emirates sites and can be get from Qantas site to/from Moscow, but only as point redemption. Any clue?

Emirates has suspended Kiev flights.

I'm easily finding Melbourne-Dubai-Moscow flights via the QF website (all on QF codes), along with Melbourne-Dubai-London-Kiev on QF/BA and Melbourne-Dubai-Frankfurt-Kiev on QF, EK and LH.

Which dates were you trying?

Also, if you're searching for Moscow, make sure you select 'DME' airport, not 'SVO' – only award flights can be booked to the latter. :)

Yea, for some freaking reason you can book MEL-DME-MEL, but not DME-MEL-DME - it saying "There are no cities matching your request."

Emirates does not have a budget arm.

While flydubai is essentially owned by the same family group, it is a totally separate entity

When you book Emirates they suggest FlyDubai to fly from Kiev to Dubai and FlyDubai cost less then Emirates and it owned by same people. What is it then?

It is not part of the 'Emirates Group'.

The difference is one (royal) family owning two airlines and owning an airline that owns another airline.
