Domestic VA business class food options - I was wondering if can request food from the economy class menu if I'm still peckish after the in-flight meal? Has anyone done it before? Is it free?

After still being a little hungry after brunch on a Brisbane-Melbourne flight, I've requested an egg and lettuce sandwich from the economy menu.
Wasn't a problem, and the crew served it on the business class tableware rather than in the packet. :)
